Wat een super toffe week heb ik gehad met de western wonder tour van Trek america! 

Hieronder een wel heel ruwe samenvatting.

Minstens  2280 kilometer in t busje gezeten om:
... dolfijnen en zeehonden te spotten vanaf een regenachtige Golden Gate Bridge
... door het prachtige yosemite national park te lopen (en te klimmen)
... 2x een party bus/limo te nemen in las vegas om de volgende dag weg te branden in het zwembad van het fijne hotel.
... geblindoekt naar het Grand Canyon geleid te worden.
... in een helikopter te stappen om te zien hoe ongeloofelijk groot het Grand Canyon is
... route 66 te rijden met stop in otaman ghost toen en er een gekostumeerde groepsfoto te maken.
... af te koelen door te skinny dippen (in het donker) in lake havanasu en gewekt worden door een zandstorm en wegvliegende tenten.
... te ontdekken dat je de zelfde schoenmaat hebt als marilyn monroe in hollywood.

En dat met 13 toffe medereizigers uit duitsland, frankrijk, Groot-Brittannië, india, Italië,  japan, zuid-korea en nederland. Geleid door toffe amerikaanse tourleader met af en toe een brits accent.

Een andere keer uitgebreidere posts van yosemite, las vegas, grand canyon, roure 66 en lake havanasu.
Ga ik even van los angeles, of eigenlijk santa monica genieten.

What a week joining the western wonder tour from trek america! A very, very rough compilation.

Driving at least 2280 km in our van to:
... spot dolphins and sea lions in the water from a misty and rainy golden gate bridge.
... walk (and climb) through beautiful yosemite national park
... step into a party bus/limo 2x in las vegas and burn away in the heat at the hotel's pool side the next day
... being lead to the grand canyon blindfolded
... step into a helicopter to see how big the grand csnyon actually is
... drive on roure 66 and stop in little ghost town of otaman to make a costumed group picture.
... cool down from the desert heat at lake havanasu by skinny dipping in the dark and waking up in a sand storm trying to catch flying tents.
... discover that I have the same shoe size as marilyn Monroe in Hollywood.

All of that and more with fellow travellers from france, germany, india, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, south-Korea and the UK. Led by an amazing American tourleader with an occasional British accent.

Today and tomorrow I'll be enjoying los Angeles' Santa Monica.
