Roos Round the world gaat naar huis - Roos Round the World goes home!

Looking for English? Scroll down a bit!

---------------------------------- ENGLISH -------------------------------------

Sometimes life doesn't go as you planned it. A few weeks ago I posted about my travel plans to walk from Porto to Santiago de Compostella. But my body made it very clear to me that it really is better for me to take break. And as much as I wanted to for my walk, I decided do what my body told me so clearly. Take a rest, no crazy, beautiful travelplans and spend my time on normal things like my job and family and friends.

All that happened the past few weeks and it's why it's been so quiet here. Also, I needed time to think about what I wanted to do with this blog. And I decided to quit this blog.

Of course I won't stop travelling new places, because it really is one of the most beautiful, best things in life. But there are so many more things I love. Like cooking, (keeping up) with learning Chinese, bouldering, crochet, drawing and other DIY-things. To share all of that, I created a blog. While thinking about what route to take on with this blog, I felt like it would be appropiate to go back home on the internet (as well as how I returned home in December). So, I pack up my love for travel, the stories I still carry and the tips I still want to share and take them to 'Share the bright side of life'.

This blog will still stay online for a while and I hope to move all stories to my home-blog in the next few months.

I hope to welcome you there this Saturday!
